Hoji started his acting path in Portugal, where he performed mainly in TV and at the Lisbon National Theater.
Hoji won an African Academy Award for his performance as César in Congolese crime-drama Viva Riva! – official selection at the Toronto International Film Festival, Berlinale and Best African Film at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards.
In addition to Viva Riva! Hoji has appeared in Meanwhile by acclaimed director Hal Hartley; the ABC TV series Pan Am; and Afronauts – official selection at Sundance and Berlinale, among other projects. More recently, he starred in the UrbanWorld Audience Award Winner Best Feature and BlackStar Fest Best Narrative Feature In The Morning; and Wilsonov, a Czech horror comedy.
Rachel Caron is a singing, dancing and acting Maine native. She attended the Young Americans College of the Performing Arts in Southern California, where she joined their touring troupe and toured around the world for four years, educating and performing in places like South Africa, Japan, Germany and everywhere in between. She has been a Jazz Dance Instructor at Encore High School for the Visual and Performing Arts in Riverside, CA and a choreographer at the acclaimed BRAVO! Performing Arts Academy in Chicago, IL where she also played the part of Cersi Lanister in the Burlesque Production of “Game of Thongs”. She is excited to make New York City her new home and hopes you enjoy the show!!
Since the age of 6, Amber has been professionally trained in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and hip hop. She has performed and excelled at local, state, and regional dance competitions throughout the southeast through grade school and college. She moved to New York City 6 months ago to pursue fashion and dance. This is her New York City as well as her burlesque debut!
Gareth Tidball is an actress, director, and playwright. She is a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she received training in the Meisner Studio and the Classical Studio. Her favorite past credits include Othello(Manhattan Shakespeare Project) Henry V (NYU Classical Studio), and America is Hard to See (Life Jacket Theatre Co). Gareth also serves as a teaching artist throughout the five boroughs. She currently teaches drama classes to youth aged 5 to 15 at the Jamaica Center for Arts and Learning, and at the nonprofit after-school program South Asian Youth Action (SAYA). She is a founding member of the all-female clown troupe The Pupils.
